The name Shruti Sancheti and her label ‘Pinnacle’ have been making waves for the past eight years. A fashion graduate from the J D Institute of Fashion Technology, Shruti’s career graph has soared since the launch of her label. Her experiments with Indian textiles have created a niche for her brand.
The Thar collection in 2012 was a mix of textiles from Kutch. The Swadeshi collection in 2013 worked with Indian handlooms. Reviving and recreating weaves has been Shruti’s forte and she sources her weaves from places like Vidharbha and works with Indrayani (Maharashtra State Handloom Board) for reviving weaves of the region.
Her clientele includes celebrities like Prachi Desai, Zareen Khan, Shaina NC and many more.
A regular at Lakmé Fashion Week and the India Fashion Week in Delhi, Shruti’s collections have been totally varied each season. Retailing all over India through 28 stores, Shruti ensures that her creations are aimed at a cross section of women. With her latest prèt collection, Shruti has taken her first step by launching her brand ‘Pinnacle’ in the Spark Mall in Civil Lines, New Delhi. Her next launch is the first flapship store at Juhu Tara Road in Mumbai where she will concentrate on retailing her fashion week ranges as well as a specially created contemporary Indian collection that will focus on restrained opulence and understated luxury with craftsmanship. Progressing with great speed, Shruti’s store at T3 Indira Gandhi International Airport in September 2018 will cater to the needs of the global buyers.
